Supervises backstage operations, managing all sound and lighting aspects of approximately 200 events per year. Responsible for overseeing theatre, guest artists, and crews in a safe manner; analyzing and negotiating technical requirements for professional touring companies; designing and executing lighting design for professional concert artists; developing and planning lighting composition relative to instrument selection, location, color, media, intensity and cueing; consulting with production companies with regard to set design; recommending any equipment purchases and repair /maintenance work for theatre facilities; and supervising work crews for setup, performance, strike and maintenance; other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include coordinating the development and implementation of the annual program; organizing film submissions and facilitating the selection process; coordinating printed materials; managing the jury and awards process; providing administrative support; onsite festival coordination.
