The celebration of the music of the late Merle Watson and his father Doc Watson is held on the campus of Wilkes Community College. Musicians on tap for the 2010 festival include Doc Watson, Merles son Richard Watson, Elvis Costello, The Avett Brothers, Little Feat, The Tony Rice Unit, Steve Martin with the Steep Canyon Rangers, just to name a few.
